What is an Owners Rep?

The job of an owner's representative is to act as the intermediary between the owner and and all other project personnel and stakeholders. They advocate on behalf of the owner and their interests from project inception to completion making sure the vision, scope, timeline, and budget remain on track.

Why would you need one?

Projects are complex. From architects and engineers, to contractors, municipalities, vendors, and more, there are a lot of sometimes competing interests involved. Even an owner well versed in construction and management can be overwhelmed having to deal with so many different facets while still dealing with the day to day. An owner's representative works hand in hand with the owner, assisting them with their responsibilities, mitigating risk, streamlining communication between all parties, and more.
